Sebastián Romo, director of this airline, reported that next year they will incorporate a cargo plane to move the goods produced in Sinaloa to Los Cabos.
The new airline Señor Air has already arrived at Los Mochis Airport. This day the Los Mochis – Cabo San Lucas flight was inaugurated by the directors of this company, authorities of the Ahome City Council and the Los Mochis Airport, as well as representatives of the private initiative and the tourism sector.
The traditional airplane bath took place at 9:45 a.m. It arrived from Cabo San Lucas International Airport, where it is based.
The Los Mochis – Cabo San Lucas flight runs will have a weekly frequency of Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with a schedule of 10:15 – 11:00 hours and a flight duration of 45 minutes, and from Cabo San Lucas – Los Mochis with hours from 09:00-9:45 hours. The aircraft is an Embraer ERJ-135 with capacity for 37 passengers and an Embraer ERJ-145 is expected to be delivered in 2024.
Sebastián Romo, director of Señor Air, reported that they will soon connect Los Mochis with La Paz and Hermosillo.
“I think it is very important, and we continue from there, because I believe that we must connect Los Mochis with Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, that the market study goes there.”
He added that the atmosphere in Los Mochis is incredible and makes you want to invest and do more things.
“We already have two aircraft, this one and a slightly larger one that will start flying in 10 days and next year we are going to incorporate two other aircraft of this type of Embraer 145 with 50 passengers to be four, and the following year we will start with the Boeing 737, we are going to move more and better, and also next year we are going to incorporate a cargo plane to move the goods that are produced in Sinaloa, from here to Los Cabos, is where we consume the most things, from Sinaloa, which is tremendous”.
At the inauguration, there will be the official protocol of authorities from the H City Council of Ahome, special guests from the Tourism Sector, personnel from the Señor Air Airlines and the Los Mochis International Airport.
Verónica Medel, director of Tourism at Ahome, reported that with this new flight, 5 new air routes were created during the administration of President Gerardo Vargas.
“And it is no coincidence that this same week two such important projects crystallize, a flight that is more than a necessity that we have to Los Cabos and from Los Cabos to Los Mochis, and also that this same week a cruise arrives with almost 2 thousand people, these are two events with which we are going to close with a flourish this year this December”.
For his part, the mayor of Ahome, Gerardo Vargas, said that the cargo service will be extremely important, since the vast majority of supplies arrive in Baja California Sur, Topolobampo and Mazatlán by sea.
“Now with this type of cargo, this air bridge is going to be something very important to further detonate the economy that is going to be presented in these two great sister cities.”
The president of Ahome guaranteed Sebastián Romo a resounding victory with Señor Air.
