The vehicle closure will begin this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. and will end on Thursday at 4:00 p.m., drivers are urged to use the Mexico-Toluca Federal Highway as an alternate route.
The Mexico-Toluca Highway will be closed to vehicular circulation for 20 hours due to works on the El Insurgente Interurban Train.
The Secretariat of Works and Services (Sobse) reported that the closure will be from kilometer 24 to 33.
The vehicle closure will begin this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. and will end on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
Therefore, Sobse asked drivers to use the Mexico-Toluca Federal Highway as an alternate route.
The agency reported that the vehicular cut is necessary because works will be carried out to place a 253-ton, 44-meter-long metal structure that is part of the elevated viaduct of the Mexico-Toluca Interurban Train.
“Sobse appreciates the understanding of those who live and travel in the area, while inviting them to take precautions and take alternative routes,” it indicated in an information sheet.
