Travelers fill the roads of Tamaulipas after the Christmas holidays

Some go, others come back, everyone seeks to reach their destination after spending Christmas and welcoming the new year.

As the December festivities end, thousands of people take to the roads to return to their homes after spending these days with their family. This Tuesday, the different highway routes of Tamaulipas, mainly those leading to the border of the state, have been saturated.

Some go, others come back, all motorists seek to reach their destination after spending Christmas and welcoming the new year with their families or in some tourist destination.

There are kilometric rows in some sections such as the military checkpoint on the Ciudad Victoria-San Fernando highway and another point is “La Y” on the highway from Ciudad Victoria-Matamoros-Reynosa.

Some travelers queue up to 23 kilometers with a waiting time of more than an hour, due to the revisions carried out by elements of the national guard at the height of San Fernando, Tamaulipas on the stretch known as the “Y”.
