PUERTO VALLARTA, Jal., January 2, 2024.- With the double arrival of cruise ships this Tuesday, Puerto Vallarta starts the year with a good omen for the shipping sector that brings thousands of tourists to the city every year.
In the morning, the cruise ships Navigator of the Seas, from the Royal Carivean line and Regent, from the Seven Seas line, one of the most luxurious in the world, arrived in Puerto Vallarta.
On board the two ships, docked at piers 2 and 3 of the port, respectively, thousands of tourists arrived who are visiting the city.
It is noteworthy that Puerto Vallarta received 176 cruise ships last year that left around half a million cruise passengers in the city, who represented an economic spill of around 60 million dollars, taking into account that the cruise passenger has an average expenditure, per capita, of 120 dollars.
