The beaches that are closed are: El Médano, El Chileno, Santa María, Palmilla, Costa Azul, and Acapulquito. These are some of the most popular beaches for tourists and locals, especially during the holiday season.

The closure does not affect the access to the beaches for recreational purposes, such as swimming, sunbathing, or walking.
