Some beaches in Los Cabos are closed to nautical activities

Due to the presence of strong winds and high waves, the Port Authority of Los Cabos decided to close some beaches to nautical activities, such as kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, and surfing.

The beaches that are closed are: El Médano, El Chileno, Santa María, Palmilla, Costa Azul, and Acapulquito. These are some of the most popular beaches for tourists and locals, especially during the holiday season.

The closure is a preventive measure to avoid accidents and ensure the safety of visitors and residents. The Port Authority will monitor the weather conditions and inform when the beaches will be reopened.

The closure does not affect the access to the beaches for recreational purposes, such as swimming, sunbathing, or walking. However, the authorities recommend following the health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as wearing a mask, keeping a safe distance, and avoiding large gatherings.
