The exhibition of the artist Ryuichi Yahag arrives at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Tamaulipas

Tamaulipas Institute for Culture and the Arts (ITCA) and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Tamaulipas (MACT) invite all people who reside in Matamoros and whose name is “Guadalupe” to participate in the exhibition of faces by the talented Japanese artist Ryuichi Yahagi who lives in Xalapa, Veracruz.

Ryuichi Yahagi, recognized for his skill and originality in the artistic field, will carry out a unique work that will highlight the identity and diversity of the people who share the name “Guadalupe”.

The director of the MACT, Araceli Sosa, extended a cordial invitation to the Guadalupes to approach the museum and participate in the construction of this unique work. “We invite people who have the name of Guadalupe to come in advance to take their data and participate in our first exhibition that will be in February of this 2024, so that they get involved in the culture,” she said.

This exhibition will take place in February 2024, and it is expected to be an event that highlights the collaboration between art and the community, emphasizing the importance of culture in everyone’s life.
