MAZATLÁN._ A man died after falling from the esplanade of the Sánchez Taboada Roundabout to the rocky area known as “El Clavadista”.
At the scene, witnesses gave two versions, some said that the man approached running and took momentum to jump to the rocks and others indicated that the man walked on the Malecón fence, that he slipped and fell between the rocks.
After falling, the waves reached the body and slammed it repeatedly against the rocks, until the arrival of the Elements of the Aquatic Rescue Squadron who were on guard.
The Lifeguards managed to reach the man, about 40 years old, but he no longer had vital signs.
The body was taken out of the sea and transferred aboard a boat of the Aquatic Police to the facilities of the Nautical Club, where the staff of the General Directorate of Forensic Investigation carried out the legal procedures.
At the moment the deceased is unidentified, it was only said that he wore dark denim pants, light-colored sweatshirt and black tennis shoes.
