The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) allocated 16 million 470 thousand pesos to carry out studies concerning the construction of airports in Ensenada, Baja California and San Miguel de Allende.

According to the report from the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), the SICT will carry out these actions to provide for the development of airport infrastructure in phases, in the short, medium and long term.

“The studies include the execution of various surveys to know the level of groundwater and the different layers of soil, in order to determine the layer with sufficient bearing capacity to dislodge the buildings, as well as carry out proposals for foundation solutions. “, It indicated.
The SICT pointed out that the construction of this new infrastructure in the country is part of the actions to strengthen the national airport system.
