The Regional Museum of Nuevo León is housed in the oldest building in Monterrey, an episcopal palace from 1787. Within this beautiful baroque-style enclosure, the history of the state and the region is preserved: from the remote past to the first industrialization , with a collection that covers people, artists, heroes, invaders, heroes, the first businessmen, etc.
En el marco del Día Internacional de los Museos 2024, reconocemos la importante función que los museos regionales cumplen al preservar, exhibir y difundir el patrimonio cultural, histórico, artístico e incluso natural de una región específica. Su misión es conservar y mostrar los aspectos más representativos y significativos de la zona a la que pertenece, proporcionando a los visitantes una comprensión profunda y contextualizada de la identidad regional.
