The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office

Following a pursuit of a vehicle in Sonora by authorities, members of the State Public Security Board reported that a man was arrested in the Ciudad Coahuila Ejido, Mexicali in the neighboring state of Baja California.
According to the report given through X by the State Security Board, elements of the National Guard and the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) reported that a pursuit of two vehicles was carried out in the town of Rito, Sonora to the aforementioned ejido, where a person identified as Brayan Roberto ‘N’ was arrested, who was in possession of a grenade, magazines and cartridges.
“Elements of the National Guard and the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) reported the pursuit of two vehicles that began in the town of Rito, Sonora and concluded on the Third Order Road of the Ejido Ciudad Coahuila, belonging to Mexicali, Baja California, where the arrest of Brayan Roberto ‘N’ was carried out,” the State Board shared.
It was reported that in these two confiscated vehicles there was a 40-millimeter fragmentation grenade, three 5.56-millimeter caliber rifle-type weapons, 45 magazines of various calibers, 1,563 cartridges of various calibers and three tactical vests with metal plates.
Finally, the State Board reported that the detained person, as well as the seized material, was placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office to carry out the corresponding investigations of the case.
