It seems that he lost his balance while working on the 19th floor and fell to the 15th level, where he landed on a wooden platform

A construction worker lost his life after falling three levels (floors) at a construction site located on Del Mar Avenue and Flamingos, in the Ferrocarrilera neighborhood.
It was around 8:00 in the morning when an accident was reported at the condominium tower where preventive elements such as first responders and paramedics from the Red Cross quickly attended, who examined the worker and confirmed that he no longer had vital signs.
According to the information gathered, the worker was working on the 19th floor of the condominium tower when he apparently lost his balance and fell through a clearing to the 15th floor, three levels below, and landed on a wooden platform that stopped his descent.
State and Municipal Civil Protection elements arrived at the scene to supervise the safety measures at the construction site. Minutes later, forensic and investigative personnel from the Regional Vice-Prosecutor’s Office of the Southern Zone arrived to carry out the corresponding procedures and find out the causes of the accident.
Likewise, the funeral home staff on duty was waiting for authorization to remove the body, which would be taken to the Forensic Medical Service for a legal autopsy and later delivery to his relatives.
According to unofficial data, the worker was identified by the name of José Alfredo “N”, approximately 24 years old, originally from Mazatlán, and had been working at this construction site for about four weeks.
State and Municipal Civil Protection personnel reported that the work was going to be suspended until safety conditions improve, so they were going to place the respective suspension seals.
