“I told you before the campaigns, be careful when choosing candidates linked to criminal groups and unfortunately today I have to tell you that according to the security committee, there are at least eight elected candidates who have some link or relationship with criminal groups,” declared the governor.

The state leader did not specify which parties or municipalities are involved; however, he asserted that the information will be forwarded to the corresponding authorities so that they can follow up on each of the cases.

“It is information that will be uploaded to the corresponding authorities, it is a very delicate subject that I warned that the political parties should review which candidates they proposed to the citizens and unfortunately today we see that at least eight of those who already appear elected in the counts have at least some family link or relationship,” he declared in an interview.

In the case of Tarimoro, the governor said that an important security operation has already been deployed in the city, because the government takes care of the people and not the criminals.
