Tepic.- Experts have pointed out that July and August will be the months in which there will be more rain for Nayarit. Jerusalén Ceja, a meteorologist at the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN), confirmed that this year the rains could reach 30% more than the historical average.
«It could reach up to 30% more than the historical average and could even be above 50% than last year in Nayarit and we are already observing it last year, in the month of June we did not register rain and for this June 2024 we are already above the average».
He mentioned that these rains will be favorable to counteract the serious drought that various states of the Mexican Republic are going through, including Nayarit, where the dams need to be recovered. At the moment Aguamilpa is at 60% of its capacity.
