Air Canada announced that starting December 13, 2024, there will be new weekly flights from Quebec City to Tulum International Airport.
Jorge Molina, general director of Tourism and Economy of Tulum, highlighted that this expansion strengthens Quebec’s connection with key tourist destinations, offering travelers more options for their winter vacations.
He noted that Tulum continues to gain popularity among Canadian travelers and these new flights are proof of this.
The official detailed that starting December 13, Air Canada will begin direct flights from the province of Quebec to Tulum, reaffirming its commitment to expanding flight options. They already offer flights from Montreal and Toronto, and now also from Quebec.
He added that Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning, and Stéphane Poirier, President and CEO of Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), are excited to launch these new direct flights, facilitating access to Mexico’s Riviera Maya and resuming direct flights from Quebec to other popular sun and beach destinations.
