Nayarit becomes the official tourist destination of the Dallas Cowboys

In a historic ceremony held at the facilities of “The Star”, home of the Dallas Cowboys, Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado, Secretary of Tourism of Nayarit, today formalized an unprecedented alliance with the renowned NFL franchise. This partnership marks a significant milestone for the state of Nayarit by being designated as the official tourist destination of the team.

Accompanied by key Cowboys executives, including CFO Tom Walker, Suárez outlined the terms of the agreement that will actively promote Nayarit internationally during the 2024-2025 season. During the meeting, the Consul General of Mexico in Dallas, Francisco de la Torre, was also present, highlighting the strategic importance of this collaboration for both parties.

The event included a tour of the Cowboys corporate offices and training camp, where future activations that will strengthen the relationship between Nayarit and the team were discussed. In a gesture of cultural exchange, representatives from Nayarit presented the Cowboys with a Huichol handicraft made in the shape of an American football, while the team presented an official helmet to the Governor of Nayarit, Dr. Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero.

This alliance not only seeks to raise the international visibility of Nayarit as a world-class tourist destination, but is also expected to generate new economic and tourist opportunities for the region, consolidating its position on the global map of sports tourism.
