The Magical Towns of Mexico offer cobblestone streets, lush nature and a rich cultural heritage that enchant every visitor
The designation of “Magical Town” is based on natural beauty, cultural wealth, traditions and a history that in many cases have been the scene of transcendental events for our country. They are places that show the national identity in each of their corners, with a magic that emanates from their attractions; visiting them is an opportunity to discover the charm of Mexico.
Currently, the country has 177 located in different states. Jalisco, the State of Mexico and Puebla lead the list with the largest number of these destinations.
It should be noted that according to the Ministry of Tourism, the Magical Towns are part of a government program launched in 2001 to develop tourism in the different regions of the country.
