Residents of the Frailesca region in Chiapas reported that groups of armed men linked to organized crime kidnapped more than a dozen people on Monday afternoon in at least three communities.
Residents anonymously reported that the first act of recruitment occurred in the communities of Laguna del Cofre, then in Llano Grande, and incidents were also reported in Nueva Independencia. All three belong to the municipality of Montecristo de Guerrero.
