
With the recent approval of Conasami, the minimum wage in Mexico accumulates an unprecedented increase of 110% between 2018 and 2024. No one can earn less than 7,468 pesos per month.
Starting January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Mexico will be 248.93 pesos per day, an increase of 20% compared to the previous year.
With this increase, in addition, the minimum wage accumulates an unprecedented growth of 110% in the last six years, during the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
If we consider the monthly minimum wage, it can be seen that in 2018 it was 2,650 pesos and for this year it has already risen to 7,468 pesos per month.
With this increase, Mexico is positioned as the sixth country with the highest minimum wage in Latin America.
