LORETO
Loreto is one of the most captivating Magical Towns in Baja California Sur. Located 356 kilometers from La Paz, a trip of approximately four hours by road, this charming fishing village is located between the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Giganta.
The Loreto Bay National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is home to gray and blue whales, sea lions and endemic reptiles. Among its beaches is Playa El Burro, a natural pool in the Bay of Concepción, ideal for water activities such as swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and diving. SANTA ROSALÍA
Santa Rosalía, famous for its black sand beaches, is just one hour and 47 minutes from Loreto. Among its main attractions are the Santa Bárbara parish, the Museum of Mining History, Plaza Benito Juárez and the Santa Rosalía Mission.
The Tres Vírgenes volcano complex and San Marcos Island, with its views of the Sea of Cortez, offer opportunities for snorkeling, kayaking and diving, allowing the observation of a variety of marine species and reefs. In addition, Santa Rosalía is home to the second largest gypsum mine in the world, adding another point of interest for visitors.
Todos Santos
Just an hour from La Paz lies Todos Santos, one of the most bohemian beach destinations in Mexico. This magical town enchants visitors with its cobblestone streets, colorful houses and local crafts. Among its attractions are the General Manuel Márquez de León Theater, the Siglo XXI Cultural Center and the Mission of Our Lady of Pilar, as well as a varied gastronomic offering based on fresh fish and seafood.
