One week into the summer vacation period, users and business chambers such as COPARMEX Puerto Vallarta have reported various anomalies at the Bucerías toll booth, which belongs to the new Guadalajara-Puerto Vallarta highway.
It has been reported that this booth only accepts cash payments and has problems with the TAG reader.
In the case of the TAG, drivers blame the PASE company, since when contacting it, the company confirms that the TAG has a balance and is active.
According to reports, those who do not have cash at that time and cannot pay by card are forced to leave a valuable object as collateral, which they can recover when they pay off the debt upon their return.
These situations are causing inconveniences both to tourists, who prefer to pay by card, and to logistics companies. When the sensor does not validate the TAG, the operator must assume the payment of $223.00 pesos.
Those affected find it strange that, being a new and modern highway, this toll booth does not have a card payment system and has problems with the TAG reader.
Complaints have been filed with the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) and the Secretariats of Tourism of Jalisco and Nayarit, requesting immediate solutions to these problems that affect users.
