After decades of delay, today the progress of the lot regularization project in the Colosio neighborhood of Playa del Carmen was reviewed, benefiting 4,000 families.
“We will bring social justice and well-being to them,” said Governor Mara Lezama during a meeting with Román Meyer Falcón, Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development (Sedatu).
Progress in Property Regularization
During the meeting, it was announced that the censuses for the integration of files were completed through the five modules enabled at:
– “Luis Donaldo Colosio” Sports Unit
– “José España Cruz” Secondary School
– Municipal Public Market
– “Libertad” Kindergarten
– Sedetu Office in the Colosio Neighborhood
“We are advancing in the joint work route and already have significant progress in the comprehensive plan,” said Román Meyer, highlighting the trust and response of the beneficiaries.
As is known, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador instructed to make the dream of the Colosio residents come true.
The president will deliver their documents fully registered in the Public Property Registry.

Also participating in this meeting from Sedatu was the head of the Planning and Institutional Development Unit, Cipactli Casas Cruz.
