The March 3 union belonging to the city council of Oaxaca blocked streets in the city on Wednesday afternoon.
The protest was in demand for the lack of a solution to the maintenance of the carts they use to collect garbage.
The streets blocked are: Morelos and Crespo, Matamoros and Aranda, Morelos and Aranda, the workers placed garbage trucks to block traffic.
They said that if there is no response they will continue with their demands for President Francisco Martínez Neri to comply with the minutes of agreements they signed in recent days when they also demonstrated.
The most affected were the people who had to transfer to get to their destinations.
At the moment the blockade on these streets continues.
