Why do people travel to Los Cabos?

Los Cabos, on the Baja California Peninsula, is a resort area consisting of two towns: Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.

Beaches are the main draw in Los Cabos, making up the vast majority of Tripadvisor’s top 15 things to do. Swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing and whale watching are popular activities.

Visitors to the peninsula should note that some of the beaches are not suitable for swimming due to rough waters and waves, as well as the risk of dangerous rip currents, according to the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
