CFE reports damages due to rains in Sinaloa and Sonora; 71% of those affected have been restored

Due to the rains recorded on Monday afternoon and evening, 151,002 users were affected and, so far, the power supply has been restored to 106,527, equivalent to 71% of the users reported in the states of Sonora and Sinaloa, reported the Federal Electricity Commission.

The CFE reported that it is in coordination with the Civil Protection authorities of the two states to determine that there is no risk for the citizens or for the CFE staff, in the restoration work, which will continue until reaching all the affected users.

“To deal with the contingency, 129 electrical workers, 27 cranes and 60 vehicles have been made available,” reported the parastatal.

The Commission reported that 10,720 users were affected in Sonora, with 95 percent of electricity restored. In Sinaloa, 140,282 users were affected, with 69 percent of the power restored.

He added that the communication channels for any report, question or clarification regarding the power supply are: 071 and @CFE_Contigo.
