Due to the insecurity in the region, as in other areas of the country, travel agencies in San Cristóbal are experiencing their worst moment, with a sales level of seven percent, denounced Linda Armas, president of the Chiapas Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies.
In a press conference, she announced that the hiring of this service has decreased because the presence of national and international tourism has decreased.
She mentioned that for more than five years they have been canceling contracts in agencies in San Cristóbal.
