In the Doctores neighborhood, the municipal police of Corregidora made three men accused of cargo theft operating on the border with Guanajuato and Querétaro available to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
They were arrested in the Doctores neighborhood while they were guarding a tractor-trailer that they had stolen moments before with violence on the Surponiente Bypass.
Two car thieves arrested on Lázaro Cárdenas
The subjects used an Audi car to guard the cars they stole to take them to a warehouse in said neighborhood to store the units.
Their capture was achieved after the authorities, through C4 video surveillance cameras, observed the Audi brand car on the Surponiente Bypass, which they were looking for for being involved in this type of illegal acts.
During its journey, the vehicle was traveling behind the tractor-trailer. Upon being followed, the police units entered some dirt roads in said colony to intercept them when they were trying to store the truck in the warehouse.
The thieves, upon noticing the police cordon, got out of the vehicles they were traveling in and tried to flee, however, they were arrested.
After a search, signal inhibitors and various tools that they used to commit the robberies were found. The FGR was notified to determine the legal situation of the people, as well as the safekeeping of the vehicles and objects, as well as the warehouse where the proceedings will be carried out.
