Sixth National Cocoa and Chocolate Festival in San Cristóbal de las Casas

From the center of the city of San Cristóbal de las Casas, the Sixth National Cocoa Festival is taking place, where representatives from various municipalities of the state of Chiapas are present, to demonstrate their work, which will be until tomorrow Monday, the exhibitors invited the citizens and their visitors to attend the event to learn about cocoa, its tradition, its harvest, because they will be exhibiting in grains, in addition there will be trained personnel to explain each of their products.

In this regard, Gloria Maza Hernández, from the municipality of Ocozocoautla, in an interview said that in this meeting of the Sixth Cocoa and Chocolate Festival, there are exhibitors from different municipalities of the state of Chiapas, the products that they are presenting in the center of the colonial city, are one hundred percent Chiapas, so she invited people to attend the event and enjoy what Chiapas produces.

“We come from Ocozocoautla de Espinosa Chiapas, right now we are in the Sixth Festival of Cacao and Chocolate, we are celebrating our work, our product which is 100% Chiapas Cacao and Chocolate, we have very good Cacao in Mexico and in Chiapas, we have to celebrate what we have in our country, Cacaos are produced more on the coast, but they are also produced in various places, for example, in Raudales Malpaso, Tecpatan, and other municipalities,” he indicated.

Finally, he invited the people, the surrounding towns and the tourists who are in the city, to come to the central park of San Cristóbal, where the Sixth Festival of Cacao and Chocolate is taking place, “take advantage of today and tomorrow, come to celebrate with us by consuming Chiapas Cacao, come to try our Chocolate.”
