After the heavy rain yesterday, the residential area of Angelópolis, in the Zonazul area, reported several damages, which has led to the temporary closure of its parks.
Through a statement, Zonazul reported that, after a tour of the macro condominium, trees at risk of falling and walls about to collapse were detected. Therefore, in order to guarantee the safety of the inhabitants and improve the conditions of the Zonazul parks – Deportes, Mariposas, Dedo Verde and La Loma – these will remain closed today and tomorrow.
The storm on Tuesday caused flooding in houses and vehicles, as well as the fall of billboards and trees in the complex of subdivisions of Lomas de Angelópolis, Puebla.
Social media users shared numerous videos in which you can see how the water current entered their homes and swept away several vehicles. Some streets were covered by up to a meter of water.
For its part, the state government issued a bulletin in which it reported similar damage in the municipality of Puebla, such as the fall of billboards, trees and palm trees that damaged cars. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
