Aéreo Servicio Guerrero (ASG) and Empresa Turística Integral Islas Marías announced the launch of a new air route that will connect Tepic (TPQ) with the Islas Marías, an overseas tourist destination in Nayarit, Mexico.

Beginning October 2, the route will offer visitors a unique travel experience that combines natural beauty, history and culture.

Flights will operate from Puerto Balleto, a town on Isla María Madre, the largest of the Islas Marías and the former main city of the islands. The Islas Marías represent one of the few island communities in Mexico and are an emerging ecotourism destination.

The new flights from Tepic are expected to boost tourism in the region and provide a sustainable way for visitors to engage with this unique environment.

ASG will use Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft, with capacity for 13 passengers. Flights will depart Tepic at 8:00 a.m., with an approximate duration of 45 minutes. The return flight is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., providing a full day to explore the island’s attractions.
