The confrontation between the factions of Los Chapitos and “El Mayo” Zambada, of the Sinaloa Cartel, brought an air of anticipated triumph for the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel, one of the factions of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), which for three years has been disputing control of this southern state from the former, challenging them to continue the armed struggle. “Here we are,” “Puros kaibiles,” “Come on…” proclaims the criminal organization.
The conflict that is taking place in Sinaloa, between the two groups that made up the Sinaloa Cartel, has so far not brought violent reactions between the two parties in Chiapas, which seem to remain compact on a single war front against their adversaries from the CJNG and the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel.
But in recent hours, the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel posted a video on social media to challenge the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel in this state to confront the fight for control of the territory, which last July marked three years of confrontation.

In the video that was recorded at the main entrance to Villaflores, a municipality where intense fighting took place last Wednesday between the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel and soldiers and elements of the National Guard, a group of armed men boast that their forces include members of the elite group of the Guatemalan Army, known as kaibiles.
“Pure Chiapas Cartel,” says one of the men recording the scene where several men with rifles can be seen stationed on the access road to Villaflores, at the height of the guardhouse, a gas station and a store.
“Here we are,” “Here we are,” “You kaibiles,” “Come on…”, “Come on now…”, says the man who is recording with a phone the men brandishing their rifles, some of them expressing the famous Guatemalan insult “Zerote!”, to express their displeasure at their adversaries from the Sinaloa Cartel.
In the 37-second video, the men from the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel insist on calling the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel in Chiapas, to continue the fight: “Come on,” “Here we are,” “…the dick,” “Dogs.”
Following the recording made by the Chiapas Guatemala Cartel, the suspension of the Grito de Independencia in the municipality of Villaflores was spread, but the city council continues with its dissemination program for tonight’s event.
