Two Brothers, the First Murder Victims of October in Tabasco

In Cárdenas, the first execution of the month occurred, where armed individuals attacked a house in the Arroyo Abejonal ranch.

October began with a double execution in Tabasco, as armed men attacked a house in the municipality of Cárdenas on the first day of the month.

On Tuesday night, two brothers were shot dead in front of their mother while inside their home in the Arroyo Abejonal ranch.

According to initial investigations, Guadalupe ‘N’ and Julio César ‘N’, aged 28 and 34, were surprised by unknown individuals who shot them at close range, killing them.

Their mother, seeing her two sons lying in blood, was left devastated and was supported by neighbors from the area known as Las Flores.

Municipal police, the Mexican Army, and the National Guard arrived at the scene along with Red Cross paramedics, but the two men were already dead.

The area was cordoned off by authorities, who found several spent shell casings of different calibers.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) conducted forensic work and secured the bodies to take them to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
