
Governor Esteban Villegas Villarreal urged bank executives to invest in Durango, because it has everything for the development of tourism, cinematography and ample facilities for opening businesses and companies.
And he cited, as an example, the 32 national and foreign investments, for an amount of 100 million pesos that have generated 27 thousand new direct jobs. The economic resources come from Mexico, the United States, Canada, Korea, China, Spain, Germany, Italy and Tunisia.
“You will hear a lot about our state, we have managed to get people to notice us internationally, since we have achieved a dream that we have been working on for several years and now it is becoming a reality,” said the governor Villegas Villarreal, to the directors of the Regional Council of La Laguna of the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA).
In addition, he assured that Durango and Mexico have many opportunities for development and investment, so he proposed that they analyze the various options that he presented to them, while explaining how great progress has been made in terms of health, education, qualified labor, connectivity, in addition to the security of the entity and the teamwork of governments with businessmen, which has been a great trigger for the arrival of national and foreign investments.
At the time, Alejandro José Cárdenas Bortoni, general director of Corporate and Government Banking of the BBVA financial group said that “there are councilors committed to investment and a lot of commitment to continue investing, we must work together and take advantage of opportunities.”
