During the Second Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Housing Institute (INMUVI), the operating rules for the 2024 housing improvement and expansion program were approved, in addition to modifying the “It’s my house” project, to facilitate payments for lots with services, highlighted the head of the municipal department, Jesús González Smith.
According to the operation, payments for the lots in the Durango Tierra del Cine subdivision were carried out in payments for up to five years, but currently with the modification of the program these have been reduced to three years, thanks to the positive response of the citizens in punctuality.
In this sense, it is assured that it is thanks to the responsibility of the Durango residents who have these lots, that the municipal government has joined the subsidy for machinery and work so that the land is ready and the construction works can begin immediately.
In addition, INMUVI is preparing to begin the second stage of the subdivision in January 2025, where it is expected to benefit 700 more families, reaffirming the commitment of the municipal government through the housing department.
Thus, the agency assures that it seeks to generate conditions for the benefit of the people of Durango, so that they can have decent housing and accessible conditions.
