Tulum celebrates the first Gastronomic Festival of Mole 2024

At a press conference, the first Gastronomic Festival of Mole in Tulum 2024 was announced, which will take place from October 31 to November 2. This event will celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Mexico, highlighting the variety and flavor of mole in its different versions.

David Corona, executive chef of The OGS restaurant, reported that the festival will include tastings, culinary workshops, and conferences with renowned chefs, in addition to having guest chefs and sponsors. Twelve national chefs will prepare various mole-based tastings, accompanied by drinks, conferences, and lots of flavor.

The event will have three venues: on October 31 at the Kanan Hotel, with Fire Dancers, Folk Dance, and DJ; on November 1 at The OGS Tulum restaurant, with Folk Dance from Michoacán and Son Jarocho; and on November 2 at El Agavero restaurant, with a folk dance show, cacao ceremony, and DJ.

For his part, Eduardo López, director of planning and strategy for the Economic Development Department, said that the Mole Festival positions Tulum as a destination for various events. The objective is to generate an economic spillover for participating companies and their employees, especially during a season of low tourist influx.
