On Sunday, November 3, at 2:00 a.m., the time change will take place for all of Baja California, including Mexicali, so citizens are advised to pay attention to that date in order to set their clocks back.
In less than a month, daylight saving time will come to an end in Baja California to give way to winter time, which is still in effect in five states of the Republic and some municipalities.
It should be noted that, despite the new Time Zone Law, daylight saving time has completely disappeared in most of the country, except in the border states, where a time change is established according to the seasons of the year.
Due to the above, Baja California, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Chihuahua and Nuevo León are the five states and 33 municipalities where the time change still applies, in order to coincide with the entities in the south of the United States.
