First off-road race for women announced in Cabo San Lucas

Within the framework of the Traditional Festivals of Cabo San Lucas 2024, the first edition of an off-road race for women will be held, a competition that will benefit those suffering from breast cancer; it should be noted that this event will be held next Sunday, October 20, in the Los Paredones area.

The XV City Council of Los Cabos will support the event by deploying elements of Public Security and emergency services, with the aim of ensuring that the activities are carried out without incidents and in a safe environment for both the participants and those who attend to witness the show.

In this regard, the organizer of the event, Jesús Ceseña Ritchie, thanked the municipal president Christian Agúndez Gómez for all the facilities received, as well as the delegate of Cabo San Lucas Raymundo Zamora Ceseña, to carry out said race that is 100% for women since the funds raised during the race will be destined to a foundation. So far, there are 45 cars registered with participants from different parts of the state such as: El Vizcaíno, El Valle, La Paz, La Ribera, San José del Cabo and of course Cabo San Lucas.

“The review will take place on Saturday, October 19 in the public square “León Cota Collins” from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday there will be a race in the Los Paredones area, there have already been tests on the track with the runners; it is a short route but full of adrenaline, for an event that not only seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer, but to strengthen community ties through sport and solidarity, and several meetings have been held to ensure safety,” explained Ceseña Ritchie.

To conclude, it is highlighted that this first edition is a symbol of the struggle and unity of the women of the municipality, who with their participation will be directly contributing to improving the quality of life of other women who need support in their fight against cancer.
