They are victims of Hurricane John who have not been counted.
Residents of different colonies of the municipal capital of Benito Juárez (San Jerónimo), victims of Hurricane John, are currently blocking the federal highway Acapulco-Zihuatanejo at the bridge to demand that the federal government support them for the damage they suffered after the floods.

The residents pointed out that the Mexican government only took into account the inhabitants of Arenales, Las Tunas, Llano Real and Hacienda de Cabañas who are now collecting their financial support.

The complainants demanded that local deputies Glafira Meraza Prudente and Mirna Coria Medina, originally from this municipality, intervene in this situation since they have not stopped in their municipality since they took office and only come when they are looking for votes.

The residents were receptive to sick people, allowing ambulances to pass, or those who had confirmed some illness or medical appointment, and despite the representatives of the General Secretariat of the Government of Guerrero, they maintained their demand to talk with federal and not state authorities.
