A few days before commemorating the 114th anniversary of the beginning of the revolutionary feat, the Michoacan Society of Historical and Cultural Studies (SOMIEHC) and the Faculty of History of the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) invite you to the presentation of the book “Pátzcuaro in the Mexican Revolution”, written by historians José Manuel Martínez Aguilar and Gabriela Alvarado Flores.
This book reveals the main political-military events that occurred in Pátzcuaro during the Mexican Revolution, and how the city was disputed by various factions between 1911 and 1920.
The presentation will be led by historian Eduardo Nomelí Mijangos Díaz and moderated by José Arturo Villaseñor Gómez, president of Cronistas por Michoacán A. C.
The event will take place next Tuesday, November 19 at 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of History at Ciudad Universitaria (C.U.). Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of Pátzcuaro and its role in the Mexican Revolution.
