With the aim of creating a sensory experience accompanied by a good wine, the second edition of the VINART wine festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday in Ajijic, Jalisco.
VINART Ajijic is a festival that celebrates the passion, flavor and wine tradition that grows day by day in Mexico and now flourishes on the shores of Lake Chapala, where there are already some wineries dedicated to winemaking.
The event is a celebration of wine culture, where experts and enthusiasts meet to share experiences and learn from the best producers in Mexico and the world. There will be workshops, tastings, pairings and activities for all tastes.
More than two thousand attendees are expected to participate in the second wine festival, who will be able to taste more than 150 wine labels from different Mexican and foreign wineries.
There will also be free barbecue classes, live tuna slicing, roast suckling pig making, artists, live music and fireworks.
“This is the second edition, and the truth is that we have had a very good response. The first edition went very well, people were very satisfied and because of that result we decided to do another one this year,” said Alejandro Sahagún, general director of VINART.
The event will be held at Nimue Marina Residence this Saturday and Sunday and will cost 1,550 pesos for the two days. The cost to attend on Saturday is 1,100 pesos and on Sunday 950 pesos.
The schedule will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Minors and pets are not allowed.
