From November 20 to 24, Vuela Nayarit 2024, the third edition of this Mexican event, will take place and will feature the participation of more than 60 paragliding and hang gliding pilots.
Participants will take off from the Ceboruco Volcano to fly over the skies of Ahuacatlán and Jala on the 20th, 21st and 22nd and then will fly over the skies of the municipality of San Blas taking off from the ejido of Tecuitata on November 23rd and 24th.
Paragliding and Hang Gliding is an adventure sport that consists of taking off without the help of an engine from mountains and hills with only the impulse of running and taking advantage of the natural air currents which paragliding and hang gliding pilots take advantage of to climb and stay flying during the hours of the day.
How to enjoy Vuela Nayarit 2024?
The Vuela Nayarit 2024 event is completely free, you can see them in the sky from Ahuacatlán or enjoy the takeoffs by climbing the Ceboruco Volcano on November 20, 21 and 22.
Also on November 23 and 24 you can watch the flights from different points of Playa Los Cocos or go up to the takeoff ramp in the Tecuitata ejido in the municipality of San Blas to see how they take off and enjoy the wonderful views of Matanchen Bay, one of the few places to fly facing the sea in Mexico.
