A man died after being attacked with a knife in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 19 at the intersection of Venustiano Carranza and Constitución streets, in this popular area of Vallarta.
According to witnesses, the victim, a man of approximately 55 years of age, was walking through the area when he was attacked by a subject who approached him wielding a knife. After arguing briefly, the aggressor retreated but immediately attacked the man without giving him time to respond.
Fatally wounded, the victim fell to the ground while the aggressor ran away from the scene. Paramedics from a hospital located in the area immediately ran to attend to the victim, however, he lost his life almost instantly. Municipal Police officers went to the site to try to find the whereabouts of the aggressor, however, he was not located. For its part, personnel from the State Prosecutor’s Office attended to gather evidence and begin the investigation into this homicide.
