Authorities in Playa del Carmen are investigating a shocking case of alleged sexual abuse involving up to three dogs in the Villas del Sol subdivision. Orlando García, director of Environmental Regulations, reported that the first complaint emerged on Wednesday night, involving a dog named Chuleta. Specialists are now evaluating whether the other two reported dogs also suffered similar attacks.
García noted that there could be more cases, as other animal disappearances have been reported in the area. He urged the public to report any suspicious activity to aid the investigation. The goal is to gather sufficient evidence to present to the Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office, which will determine the extent of the damage and the legal actions against the responsible individual.
This case has sparked outrage among Solidaridad residents, who are demanding justice and greater protection for animals. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to clarifying the facts and ensuring the well-being of pets in the municipality.
