The economic dynamics of Ciudad Madero continue to grow with the upcoming opening of four new businesses before the end of 2024. Among them are pizzerias and cafes that will strengthen the municipality’s commercial and gastronomic offering.
The Secretary of Economic Development of Madero, Yazmín Santiago Barros, said that businessmen are planning their investments in the downtown area of the city, a space that requires anchor establishments to promote local development.

“The new franchises that will open before the end of this year reflect the confidence in the municipality of Madero. The municipal administration provides all the necessary support to guarantee economic development and attract more investments,” she said.
Strategic investments and job creation
Among the upcoming businesses is a branch of the Canadian coffee shop Tim Hortons, which will be located on Álvaro Obregón Avenue, one of the main roads in the city. This will be the third establishment of this brand in the metropolitan area.
In addition, two pizza franchises will open their doors, one of them on Primero de Mayo Avenue, in the center of Ciudad Madero.
These openings represent a significant investment for the southern area and will generate both direct and indirect jobs.

Fast food businesses predominate
The official explained that fast food businesses continue to lead investments due to their ability to satisfy consumer demands with innovation and quality.
It is expected that these openings will serve as an incentive for more entrepreneurs to consider investing in Ciudad Madero, reinforcing its position as a key point for the economic development of southern Tamaulipas.
The arrival of new companies could continue during the next year, since at least four investors have shown interest in establishing themselves in the municipality.
On the other hand, the Café Andrade franchise plans to expand in the region and has its sights set on Ciudad Madero and Altamira as destinations to open new branches in 2025.
With these openings, which will be operational before the end of 2024, Ciudad Madero consolidates its economic dynamism and strengthens its commercial offer, establishing itself as a development engine in the southern area of Tamaulipas.
