Due to the violent events that occurred in recent days in Tabasco, there are businesses that this weekend decided to close their doors as a security measure after the massacre at “Dbar” in Villahermosa.
The business owners said this measure is to guarantee the safekeeping of their security, as well as that of their “staff”. This caused low traffic and of course a negative economic impact for employees, waiters, bar tenders, as well as valet parking that mostly depend on tips.
Massacre at “Dbar” causes massive closure of businesses
The massacre at “Dbar” put an end to the nightlife in clubs and discos in Villahermosa, Tabasco. Starting this weekend, some establishments and businesses in this field decided to lower their curtains due to the lack of security conditions.
They reported it on their social networks, with notices directed to their clients; they indicated that to guarantee their safety and that of the staff they would not operate until further notice.
In fact, there were establishments that did operate, but due to the lack of clientele they closed two hours earlier than usual. The low influx of customers has been recorded since last Wednesday, although most do not begin operations until the weekend.
The Government of the State of Tabaco announced that it will modify the hours of these nightclubs, after what happened at the “Dbar”. And added to the fear among people, there is uncertainty about the measures that government officials will apply.
The impact, for now, was for the employees, waiters, bartenders and ballet parking attendants who mostly depend on tips. It should be said that in general, in the city of Villahermosa, semi-deserted streets were observed after midnight.
