Los Cabos is recognized as the “Best Destination in Mexico,” receiving the Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards for the second consecutive year in the 2024 edition.
The general director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda Cascajares, was the one who received the recognition during the ceremony held at the America Museum of Natural History in New York.
The Readers Choice Awards award is a recognition in the travel industry and represents one of the most prestigious awards that highlight excellence in various sectors, including tourist destinations, airlines, cruise lines, and hotels.
Likewise, the winners are selected through a voting process that involves Travel Weekly readers, who choose their favorites in multiple categories and finally the results are tabulated by Northstar Travel Group, which guarantees the transparency and credibility of the award-winning process.
Los Cabos, receiving the award, is recognized among the best national and international destinations. It also reflects a joint effort between the entire local community that involves tour operators, hoteliers, as well as government authorities in Baja California Sur and the municipality of Los Cabos.

He said that these recognitions are a reflection of the commitment and effectiveness of the initiatives implemented to position Los Cabos as a first-class tourist destination, which is very attractive for those who go on vacation.
