A passenger bound for Mexico City caused a commotion at Mérida Airport after missing her flight and attempting to enter through the baggage claim area.
The passenger, who was late for her flight, mistakenly entered the corridor leading to the baggage claim area instead of going through the security checkpoint. When security staff denied her passage and instructed her to follow the correct procedure, she became angry and threw her belongings on the floor in protest.
The National Guard was notified of the incident, and airport staff intervened to handle the situation.
