The Government of Mexico presented the image that will be the emblem for this 2025, which was called the Year of the Indigenous Woman.
There will be four images that will be seen throughout the year that just began, where indigenous women appear:
“This appointment recognizes the historical memory of our ancestors as a national symbol. We give voice to the women of before and those of now,” she said.
Among the women who will be in the new image of the federal Executive.
Mayan woman-Tza’ak-b’u Ajaw: Lady of the Succession.
Tecuichpo-Ixcaxochitzin: White Flower or Flower of Lord Moctezuma.
Lady 6 Monkey: Mixtec lady of Huachino.
Xiuhtzatzin: Flower of the Toltec land.
