The roof of the historic San Luis Obispo Church in Campeche collapsed, with initial reports confirming no injuries or casualties. The church, located in the García Ginerés neighborhood, has been cordoned off to prevent further accidents, as there is a risk of additional roof sections falling.

Municipal civil protection personnel and church representatives arrived at the scene to assess the damage caused by the collapse. The San Luis Obispo Church, over two centuries old, began construction in 1561 and was completed in 1776, taking 215 years to build.
