The Cineteca Municipal de Durango returns with its first screening cycle of the year, one that will focus on projecting films that are musicals.
The first screening this week is the film “The Greatest Showman,” which stars Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron.
It is an original and daring musical that celebrates the birth of “show business” and the wonder that is felt when dreams come true. The film is inspired by the ambition and imagination of P.T. Barnum, under the direction of Michael Gracey, with songs by Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land).
“The Greatest Showman” will be available this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with a symbolic entrance fee.
