From January 18 to 31, all Durango museums belonging to the State Institute of Culture (ICED) will open their doors free of charge to the public, thus offering a unique opportunity to learn about and enjoy the vast cultural and historical wealth that the state and its elements offer.
During these 14 days, visitors can visit museums such as the Francisco Villa Museum, which pays tribute to the revolutionary leader, the Ganot – Peschard Archaeology Museum, which offers a fascinating look at the region’s pre-Hispanic civilizations, and the Gurza Museum, known for its impressive collection of art and historical objects, in addition to the SEED Numismatic Museum, with pieces that recount the country’s economic history, and the Museum of Popular Cultures, which highlights local traditions and customs.
